Yes, you can answer calls on Powerbeats Pro 2. Each Powerbeats Pro 2 earbud has three total microphones, enabling high-quality call performance as well as Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency mode performance.3 During phone calls, all three microphones are active to optimize conversations when using one earbud, and five microphones are active when using both earbuds.
Powerbeats Pro 2 feature a multi-function “b” button on each earbud. Press once to play or pause, twice to skip forward, or three times to skip backward. With optical sensors on each earbud, Powerbeats Pro 2 will automatically pause your content when you remove one earbud and resume when you replace it. Powerbeats Pro 2 were tested under controlled laboratory conditions, and have a rating of IPX4 under IEC standard 60529. Sweat and water resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.
