Safety 5 Warranty – Product Failure
Revised on 14 April 2023 – Applicable for all Safety 5 Warranty purchases made on and after this date.

1. The Warranty
- Best Denki Singapore Pte Ltd ("Best Denki") provides this Warranty for product(s) stated in the application form to the named Beneficiary ("Warranty Holder") for the period outlined in Clause 2.2, starting from the receipt date of the product(s) provided payment is completed.
- This Warranty replaces any other warranties expressed or implied, including warranties regarding quality, performance, or fitness for purpose.
- If a claim is found not to be valid or the Warranty Holder opts not to proceed with the repair, Best Denki may charge investigation costs.
- Samsung TV (2022 onwards models) require the Warranty Holder to complete online registration of the Samsung Agent Extended Warranty.
2. Warranty Coverage
2.1 Product Failure
- Repair will be arranged if cost is below original purchase price. Warranty ends if repair cost exceeds it.
- If the product is deemed unrepairable, Best Denki will issue gift vouchers not exceeding the percentage in Clause 2.2.
- Upon compensation, the product becomes Best Denki's property and the Warranty terminates.
2.2 Benefits

3. Scope of the Warranty
- Product(s) must be purchased from Best Denki and used in Singapore.
- Product(s) must have a Manufacturer’s Warranty and original purchase price ≥ $200.
- Non-transferable. No extension of Term if payments are defaulted.
- Subject to Best Denki’s right to modify terms at any time.
- Exclusions include industrial use, altered certificates, damages due to mishandling, wear and tear, acts of God, unauthorized repairs, power surges, and more (see full list in CMS).
4. Best Denki's Obligations
- Best Denki will repair or compensate via gift vouchers (no cash payments).
- Repair subject to parts availability.
- Vouchers are redeemable only at Best Denki Singapore stores.
5. Manufacturer’s Warranty
This applies first before the Safety 5 Warranty.
6. Making Claims
- Notify Best Denki within 7 days of failure.
- Submit Claim Form, Warranty Certificate, Manufacturer’s Warranty, and any other requested documents.
- If repairable: proceed with repair. If unrepairable: compensation via gift vouchers and Warranty ends.
7. Subrogation
If damage was caused by a third party, Best Denki reserves the right to assume the Warranty Holder’s rights against them.
8. Warranty Certificate
- Issued after application approval and fee payment.
- Not re-issued if lost, altered, or defaced.
- Required to claim benefits.
9. Change of Particulars
Notify Best Denki in writing of any address changes.
10. Termination of Warranty
- Terminates if total loss due to exclusions. Partial refund (50%) only if within Year 1 and no benefits claimed.
- Ceases if used in commercial environments.
11. Liability
Best Denki disclaims liability for any indirect or direct loss caused by repairs or events outside its responsibility.
12. Provider
The Warranty is provided by Best Denki Singapore Pte Ltd as per the terms above.
13. Personal Data Protection
Your personal data may be collected, used, disclosed, or transferred out of Singapore in accordance with Best Denki's Privacy Policy.

3. Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover:
- Loss or damage due to fire, theft, negligence, abuse, misuse, or accidental damage.
- Cosmetic damage, batteries, bulbs, fuses, and accessories.
- Consumables or perishable items like filters, belts, drums, ink, or toner cartridges.
- Products for commercial use, or used in non-domestic settings.
- Software faults, virus infections, or damage caused by software upgrades or installations.
- Routine maintenance, adjustments, or product recalls.
- Products not properly installed, used, or maintained as per manufacturer instructions.
4. How to Make a Claim
- Contact Best Denki Customer Service with proof of purchase and Warranty documents.
- Product must be returned or made available for inspection and diagnosis.
- Repair or compensation decisions will be communicated after assessment.
- In case of compensation, proof of identity may be required.
5. Warranty Period
The Warranty begins on the date of product receipt and runs according to the period specified during purchase.
6. Repair & Compensation
- If repair cost exceeds the purchase price, compensation will be in gift vouchers.
- The compensation value is based on the remaining Warranty period (refer to Clause 2.2).
- Once compensation is issued, the Warranty ends and ownership of the product transfers to Best Denki.
7. Transfer of Warranty
This Warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the specified product.
8. Governing Law
This Warranty is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
9. Limitation of Liability
Best Denki's liability is limited to repair or compensation as outlined in this Warranty. Best Denki is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
10. Manufacturer’s Warranty
This Warranty is in addition to the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Where the manufacturer’s warranty still applies, claims should first be made to the manufacturer or their authorized service center.
11. Privacy Policy
