Before you hand it over

Laptops, MacBooks and Surface devices must be dropped off in person at myhalo in Bugis Junction. Free doorstep pickup is available for phones and tablets only.
Bring the charger for any laptop, MacBook or Surface. It is required for trade-in. For phones and tablets, bringing the charger and cables may improve your value.
If your device is under a year old, bring the original box. It can increase what you are offered.
You do not need to wipe it yourself. Reset it first if you prefer, but every device goes through certified data erasure as part of a 30 point quality check.

Questions people ask us

Is the trade-in value store credit or cash?

Cash. myhalo pays you directly by PayNow or bank transfer. It is not a Best Denki voucher and it is not deducted at our checkout, so you are free to spend it wherever you like. Your trade-in and your Best Denki purchase are two separate transactions.

Do I have to buy something from Best Denki to trade in?

No. The trade-in stands on its own. Plenty of people use it simply to clear out a drawer.

How long is my quote valid?

Your price is locked in for 7 days from the moment you submit your quotation. If the device you hand over does not match what you described, the value is revised on inspection.

What if my model is not in the list?

Use the All PCs and Laptops option in the tool for an unlisted computer, or message myhalo on WhatsApp at +65 8068 0100 and they will quote it manually. An older or unusual model is not automatically worthless.

Who handles my device and my data?

myhalo does, at their CircularXchange in Bugis Junction. Every device goes through a 30 point quality check that includes certified data erasure. Best Denki does not take custody of your old device or your data at any point. For their full terms and privacy details, see the myhalo trade-in site.
